AN Ventures Partners

A ground-up redesign and rebuild of an.vc, the corporate site for AN Venture Partners, a Tokyo-based biotech venture capital firm that backs early-stage therapeutics startups built on Japanese science. The previous site was retired in favour of a completely new design, giving the firm a cleaner, more modern presence that better reflects its team, portfolio, and global ambitions, with both English and Japanese versions.

Development combined traditional hand-written code with an AI-assisted "vibe coding" workflow. Core structure and design were built manually, while vibe coding was used to drive the optimisation phase, tuning performance and refining the build more efficiently than a purely manual approach would allow.

The rebuild also focused on hardening the site, introducing a range of security improvements over the previous version. On the content side, the site integrates microCMS through MCP, giving the team a headless CMS setup for managing team members, portfolio companies, and news content without touching the codebase.
